Priyanka Chopra Clarifies
There had been allegations that the latest movie with Kunal Kohli's movie is a inspiration from Madhur Bhandarkar's Heroine. There had been news that the two movies are identical.
This had provoked Piggy Chops in tweeting the morale of the writer in writing accusations so baseless as this one. She mentioned that the movie directed by Kunal Kohli is a love story and this bears no connection with Madhur Bhandarkar's story which conveys the story of a heroine through her personal life.
The movie with Kunal Kohli will find Shahid Kapoor doing the male lead and it is said that both Priyanka and Shahid will be seen in 4 roles each and will be representing different ages at each time. The role also involves a version in which Priyanka Chopra is seen in yester year style covered up in drape. This might have triggered the controversy.Speaking further on the topic, media did enquire about her alleged role in Madhur's movie, she said that she doesn't want to run into controversies and also requested media to avoid unwanted discussions on this.
