Kochadaiyaan flies to Kerala!

Kochadaiyaan, the animation project from Soundarya Rajnikanth (Soundarya R. Ashwin) is in progress as the crew of the movie has already landed in Thiruvananthapuram for their second schedule of shoots. The crew will also be monitoring the animation parts of the movie which is being developed in Thiruvananthapuram. At the moment it is the production crew and Soundarya who is in Kerala overseeing the updates made on to animations. But the crew will soon be joined by the Superstar Rajnikanth and lead lady in the movie Deepika Padukone. 

The source close to the crew says "Yes, the schedule is set for 3 days of shooting with the actors in Thiruvanathapuram and our production house is already managing the animation aspects for the movie without the lead actors". The movie crew will be in Kerala for around 15 days including the 3 day schedule as they will have to proceed with the technical aspects of the production.

The movie is created using the motion capture technology which was used by James Cameroon in 'Avatar' and Steven Speilberg in 'Adventures of Tin Tin'

"We are working on the animation without the artists as of now. Rajini sir, who is in Mumbai, will be here for two days and Deepika will be joining us soon too. We will be shooting here after they come in." adds in the source. 

Kochadaiyaan is a period movie and will have animated characters. The movie is set to be dubbed in 7 different languages. The movie is written by famous director K. S. Ravikumar, and will also have actors  R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Rukmini Vijayakumar, Jackie Shroff and Nassar starring with Rajnikanth. Cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman. The movie will also be released in Japanese along with other Indian Languages.

The movie also posts in a song sung by Rajnikanth after 21 years, penned by Vairamuthu.
