Ranbir Kapoor is said to have worn the directors cap, this time for his movie promotions. The actor has always expressed his desire to direct a movie at some point of time and it seems that the time is coming up pretty soon. The recent promos of Barfi! is said to have few portions which were directed by Ranbir Kapoor (click here for trailer of Barfi! ). We enjoyed the shoots and we think that if he can blend the parts he shot perfectly into other scenes, then he can do more magic on an entire movie.
If you thought this is the first outing of Ranbir Kapoor into direction then its wrong, everyone have enjoyed the Nissan Micra ad, it is said to have directed by Ranbir himself! Aint that cool?
The incident happened that director Anurag Basu was busy with the post-production of the film, a separate agency director was hired to shoot and direct this special promotional video. However, certain portions weren't that easy to direct and that's where Ranbir stepped in. Since he has been living and breathing the character of Barfi for a while now, RK Jr. knew what the scene demanded exactly and hence offered to direct one particular sequence.
The shoot happened at Mehboob Studios.
