Yahoo! Mail Takes A New Gmail Like Look!

The revamped new look of Yahoo! mail. The changes had been steady and coming since this year and the new update was launched on Tuesday which made the design more fluidic and appealing. Yahoo, based on the much popular demands have added in more changes which are making it more close to the competitor gmail.

The new design allows users to manage mails based on topics, a one place hold for all your chats and photos. Combined with a feature that will help you change the design of the mail interface in a click.

The similarities to Gmail probably aren't coincidental. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer helped design some of Gmail's features while she was a top executive at Google Inc. Since its debut nearly a decade ago, Gmail has steadily grown into the world's most popular email service.

Unlike google, Yahoo has opted for a side display of mails so that you can view the full message on to your right side and see the list of messages on the left. The calender page has also got revamped to more like google calender feel.

What we lack to see is the fluidic change over from mail to calender as in Gmail. But since this is just the start of it, we will see further improvements coming on to the interface in coming months.
