The movie comes as a second installment to the famous movie Ishqiya (2010 Movie). The lead cast is as follows:
- Babban (Arshad Warsi): Part of the dynamic duo of Khalu, the witty partner is all set to fight and win against Begam Para, the Begum of Mahmudabad and Muniya. The movie will see Arshad Warsi's, typical comedy act along with some witty scenes and romance with Huma Qureshi.
- Khalujan (Khalu): The mature part of the duo, played by Naseeruddin Shah is another classical performance. The movie will see him disguise as Nawab to get to the palace of Begum Para. The movie will also see Khalujan romancing Begum Para and how his intelligence clears the obstacles.
- Jaan Muhammed : "Vijay Raaz plays the role of Jaan Muhammad, the antagonist who has his eyes set on Begum Para (Madhuri Dixit). Now we can't take out the fact that this movie is already fun but still will see how the duo of Babban and Khalu outwits this villain.
- Begum Para : Madhuri Dixit essays the role of Begum Para the widow of the Royal Family of Mahmudabad in Dedh Ishqiya. The victim of the movie if one could say so of the wits and intelligence of Babban and Khalu. Will the smartness of Begum backfire on the thieves?
- Muniya :Huma Qureshi essays the role of Muniya the confidant of Begum Para in Dedh Ishqiya. The glamour quotient of the movie Muniya is the pair for Babban and is also a strong and go easy kinda girl. The team will miss a lot of fun without this muniya. Will she pose challenge?
