Transcendence (2014) - Official Trailers [HD] - Fab!!

Written by newcomer Jack Paglen and also one of the screenplays that was listed in 2012 blacklist of most promising screenplays is now converting into screen reality. Transcendence deals with artificial intelligence which is capable of performing as close to the human brain and how things changes when this idea becomes reality. Transcendence is produced by veterans like Christopher Nolan and Emma Thomas. The movie will star Johnny Depp, Rebecca Hall, Paul Bettany, Morgan Freeman, Kate Mara, and Cillian Murphy along with a grand cast.

PLOT
Dr. Will Caster is an artificial intelligence researcher who strives to create a machine that possesses sentience and collective intelligence. Extremists who oppose technological advancement target him, but their actions drive him toward his goal. Caster also wants to become part of the new technology, and his wife Evelyn and his best friend Max Waters, also researchers, question the wisdom of this drive. Caster's goal to acquire knowledge becomes one to acquire power, and he seems to be unstoppable.

However, in their attempt to destroy Will, they inadvertently become the catalyst for him to succeed—to be a participant in his own transcendence.
