So its not that tough to catch Don, even though Shah Rukh Khan says in his movie that its not only tough but impossible to catch Don, his movie character name. Jokes apart, the incident happened at Chatrapathi Shivaji International Airport terminal. Actor Shahrukh Khan was caught and interrogated for few hours due to the count of baggage he was carrying.
The actor was allegedly out for a vacation with his family in Holland and London, on his return the customs authorities noted 20 bags in his name. The family of the actor was asked to let go and the team lead by Deputy collector, Sameer Wankhade interrogated the actor and was asked to pay 1.5 lakh rupees as fine for the additional baggage. According to sources, the count of bags was delaying the process and the customs commisioner, P M Govande has confirmed this news. There are also eye witnesses mentioning that he was treated equally as any other passenger and no special privileges were given for being superstar.
As P M Govande mentions, if you bring something you have to pay the duty! Don gets back in news pretty soon.
