SRK seems to be OK with the fine that he received for the offense he made in public, we are talking about the smoking incident that SRK was involved in. The event happened at Jaipur stadium, during an IPL match. Shahrukh Khan was spotted smoking in public and this was caught on cctv camera which made the case (news here)

A Jaipur city court earlier pronounced its judgement on a petition filed against the actor Shahrukh Khan saying that the actor was "guilty" for smoking in public.

Shahrukh Khan, who drew criticism for smoking in public and was asked to pay fine for his act, pleaded guilty and paid fine before the court on Wednesday, Aug 1 to put an end to all legal trouble he has faced so far. The court asked the actor to pay Rs 100 as fine. Soon after the court's judgement, Shahrukh's counsel claimed that his client was ready to pay the fine.
Nodding to the counsel's request, the court exempted the actor from personal appearance and allowed him to pay the amount through his counsel. Quite interestingly, the amount of fine i.e. Rs 100 must be less than the cost of his cigarette box.

The critics are now blaming the court for keeping the fine too less for the actor and was made a feeble amount - but again there are fixed laws on cases and court has to go by its rules.

Anand Singh, who runs the Jaipur Cricket Academy - a private club, had filed the petition against the court complaining about his act of smoking in public during an IPL match between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Apr 8.

The petitioner filed the case against SRK under section 5 read with 11 of Rajasthan Prohibition of Smoking Act, 2000, which prohibits smoking at a public places.

There has been many incidents where celebrities were involved in the smoking in public allegations and Ranbir Kapoor was the latest one who had to face the court. He had however clarified through counselor that he wasn't smoking in real, instead this was the part of the movie. Ranbir was spotted smoking at the sets of 'Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani' (news here
