West Bengal Ambassador - Shah Rukh Khan

Korbo Lorbo Jeet Bore will now have a new meaning for SRK as he is now being appointed as the Brand Ambassador for West Bengal tourism. It seems that Mamta Banerjee is planning a revamp of the face of WB tourism with the new move. As SRK has already been associated with Kolkata Knight Riders, his IPL team, it has made a special place in his heart for Bengal as a whole.

Speaking in the ceremony, state Tourism minister Rachpal Singh said "We know Amitabh Bachchan as the Gujarat's brand ambassador but now we have Shah Rukh. He has great acceptability. We can tap into foreign market."

Bengal which boasts about having mountains and see in the same state has not really been found exploiting the possibilities of tourism as in Gujrat which had recent investment to increase tourism to the state. We hope association of SRK does bring up more tourists over to Bengal.

SRK had also recently changed the logo of his IPL team Kolkatta Knight Riders and the change has been mostly in colors, now its purple instead of black! We hope to see more of SRK in the upcoming season!
