We didn't want Sonakshi to expose - Prabhudeva

In :

Prabhudeva, the foot-loose dance King from South has created a different identity with his directorial venture, he has received back to back hits and when you name them hits you should understand that they were mega hits for the stars as well as him as a director. He feels that being a choreographer was creative but after the director's cap, he has explored a wider range of creativity. He was speaking to the media recently.

He started his run at Bollywood with his movie 'Wanted' which starred Salman Khan and made a good gross collection till the time. Since this, he has been much wanted by the production houses and has been labelled the hit maker. He is coming up with his next venture 'Rowdy Rathore' this June and expects it to be a equally successful movie.

"I am happy I have received a very good response. Earlier, people would view me only as a choreographer. They now look up to me as director. There is a marked difference. Earlier, I would come down for just four or five days. I am now having longer meetings and with many more people." says Prabhu when asked about his latest experience.

Prabhudeva expects to bring back the action movies trend back to the bollywood and he is happy to be a part of it "I am a very small part of this revival. Every one out of hundred people are working on this genre. And while it's a good space to be, other genres like love, romance, comedy etc. are also good." He is happy to have worked with Akshay and Sonakshi. When he was questioned by TOI on the restrictions and limits that Sonakshi keeps over her role and whether he found it difficult to manage through the shoots he says  "Not at all. When you see the film, you will realise. In fact, we too were very happy because even we didn't want to expose. Both she and Akshay Kumar were tailor-made for the role."

So even though there is a probable 'item-number' by Sonakshi, we wont see her breaking the limits. When asked about what he prefers most between choreography and direction, Prabhudeva opens up "I love to do creative work and there is more creativity involved in being a director," and also adds that "I will do both depending on the availability of dates and comfort levels,"

He also did not forget to add the note about his new producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali "His biggest input is the title Rowdy that he has given. Otherwise he never interfered. He only came for the mahurat for half an hour. As a producer, he is superb."

We will be able to see the magic again but by June 15 till then we can just enjoy the colorful songs by Rowdy Rathore
