In the upcoming remake of the movie Dabaang in Tamil named Osthi, Nayantara is allegedly signed up for the role which Malaika Arora Khan had done aesthetically and is much famously known as 'Munni Badnaam'. The tamil version of Dabaang will show Silamberasan or Simbu doing the role done by Salman Khan and the heroine role will be played by Richa Gangopadhyay. The movie is due to be released by end of this year.

Nayantara was not the original choice of the team as it was mentioned to be Shriya Sarin who will be doing the role, but this was later changed to Nayantara. Rumor has it that when Simbu did approach his ex-lover Nayantara, she had dropped the offer and was found to be busy with her other projects, but now there has been a confirmation on her doing the role.
We sincerely hope and we know that this will be made memorable experience by Nayans who is also known for her spicy talents as well!
