I'm not comfortable doing bold roles - Asin

Asin Thottumkal, who had a blazing start to her career in Bollywood has had few low points as well. But she is quite excited about her role in her upcoming movie 'Houseful 2'. She says she enjoyed every moment of the movie and was quite excited to do a multi-starrer movie, which she has rarely done in the industry. She feels that this movie will surely hit the charts. She also confirmed that she has no qualms in sharing her screen space with other actors. 

"I am a secure person and I don't think working with other stars in a film will affect my career. I do not have any ego problems. Multi-starrers very rarely happen in the south, so when I get a chance up north, why not?" asks Asin adding, "I had fun working with Shazahn Padamsee and Jacqueline Fernandez. There is a perception that female actors do not get along well on the sets. But we became good friends and still are." 

She also thought that doing multi-starrers should be fun, as long as it gives in a pleasant experience to the audience. She also took the opportunity to clarify the rumors that she had a heavy work out and makeover done for the movie, she says "Not at all! I did lose 4-5 kilos, but I am back to my normal weight now. The news was blown out of proportion," . The actor is currently shooting for a film with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan. "It's too early to talk about the film. It is a typical Rohit Shetty comedy and is inspired by 'Gol Maal'. We have changed the story line quite a bit." 

She also mentioned that she is new to the industry and she had her roots in South movie industry, so she still has to wait to get a grip here and get established in the industry. She also appreciated the fact that Tapasee Pannu and Kajal Agarwal are taking their chances in Bollywood. But since her bollywood career the actress has taken it slow on South movies, she hasn't signed any movie after 'Kaavalan', the tamil version of Bodyguard. She clarifies this as missing content of scripts that is making her quit doing more movies in South.

When media did ask her, if she would like to do different movies which are not the usual eye candy acts by heroine, and specifically a bold sequence like 'The Dirty Picture' she readily said "I can never do a film like 'The Dirty Picture'. I'm not comfortable doing bold roles like that,"

She is still plain about what she thinks. We wish all good for 'Houseful 2'.
