A baby shower for Shilpa

Shamita Shetty sister of well known bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty is all set to host a baby shower for the mommy-to-be. The baby shower will be held at the Kundra residence in Juhu on 3rd May 2012, Thursday. 

A source said that, "Shamita has only told her the date and asked her to come by 3.30 pm. Shamita is organising everything along with Shilpa's close friends Kiran Bawa and Rupali Shah. Shilpa has been asked to just come and enjoy the party." 

Shamita Shetty has planned a pink and blue theme for the decorations, including the candles and flowers. Shilpa also will be seen in a blue and pink combination outfit. Only a few close friends have been invited, including Maanayata Dutt, Krishika Lulla and Raveena Tandon Thadani. The ceremony is entirely for women. Men are not strictly permitted for the occasion.

Shamita said that, "I want it to be surprise for Shilpa. I have never been to a baby shower so we've had to do lots of research. We will be cordoning off the lower section a day before as we don't want Shilpa to know what she'll be doing. She's very curious! This was the only day we could get as she's been traveling because of IPL and her work commitments. It's a very special day for Shilpa. I just want her to have a good time, be treated like princess and be showered with gifts."

Shilpa Shetty is currently in her ninth month of pregnancy and she is expected to give birth to her baby in end of May on the Indian Premiere League (IPL) finals.
