Pooja Bhatt not happy - curses Censor board

There are lot of things that did make the filmmaker inside Pooja Bhatt happy, the crew, the locations the shots. But it seems that the happy times are facing an hurdle as she is now forced to have only an A-certificate for the movie Jism 2 (what else did she expect?). When she had presented the song promo of the movie to the censor board, they wanted few parts to be chopped off, which irked the filmmaker and she refused to do that. Which resulted in the promo also to go under A certificate, which means that she can't air the promo on television.

"I will not pare my promos down to fit the Censor board's paranoia post The Dirty Picture. Will release what cannot be adulterated on the Internet and only release the promos of those songs on TV that are traditional and sanitized-albeit extremely melodious," Pooja told Hindustantimes.com.

She also adds about the promo release, "The promo of the Jism 2 theme song that was due to go on air on June 29th will now be released on the Internet on the same day in its uncensored form."

The actor-turned-director is perturbed with the board's approach towards television promos. "They need to give us clear directives. One sees all sorts of double entendre etc dished out to us under the guise of 'family entertainers' while any iota of sensuality aimed at the thinking, passionate, adult Indian seems to make most uncomfortable. It seems like we only accept sex if it is portrayed in a vulgar manner so that we can 'laugh' it off. Anything real makes us uncomfortable! Why I wonder? Because it reveals 'us' to ourselves?"

She couldn't hold herself from commenting via her tweets as well :

@PoojaB1972: So the deal is this-You can't buy spots on TV for a promo with an 'A' certificate. Which basically means you can't publicize your music!

@PoojaB1972: So will I pare down the promo of #Jism2 to appease the censors? Or release it on the internet & push forward a more sanitized song on TV?

@PoojaB1972: Absolutely REFUSE to pare my scheduled trailer down to pander to an over cautious Censor board. Will release promo on the internet instead.

So be it, we will wait the next two days in extreme care over the internet to see the first glimpse of the overrated (my own opinion, argue if you like :P) movie, Jism 2.
