Kareena Kapoor and Madhur Bhandarkar has never ran out of words when it comes to praising their favorite movie, 'Heroine'. The movie is considered to be the dream project for the star director and he feels that he has lot to express through the character he portrays in the movie. So is Kareena Kapoor, although a late addition to the movie, she has jelled wonderfully to the role and now when the initial promos and videos are out, one cannot think of anyone else who would suit the role of 'Heroine' (sorry Aish!).

Kareena in a recent media interaction shared her thoughts on the movie and says that this is an extremely challenging a role that she has tookup and she was sure that this would not be the dream role of any other Bollywood actor who is currently working with the industry. She says "I am happy about the fact that Heroine has turned out to be my bravest role. See, at this stage of my career, not many actresses would want to play the role of a declining superstar. Typically you see films where a star's journey is shown from rise to fall and then rise. In Heroine that's not the case as from the very first frame you can see that this superstar is declining."

The movie which narrates the story of a Bollywood heroine and her fall through the career. The story is mixed with romance, lust and back stabbing, some of which the director claims to have been made up for the movie. But with the previous experiences with the director makes the audience think otherwise, as Madhur Bhandarkar is known to show the hidden truths of industry as he had done with Corporate and Fashion.

Kareena Kapoor says that she never planned on doing any movie similar to Heroine, "Well honestly I didn't even think that way and also, you can't plan such things either", smiles Kareena. "I always take challenges when it comes to performance oriented roles and Heroine isn't something that I could have missed. Also, remember that I played a prostitute in Chameli at the age of 22 when many people around me said that it was a wrong move and since I was way too young to pick up such a part, I shouldn't do it. Still, I was convinced to play the part so I did it. Similarly when not many would have been courageous enough to pick up the part of Heroine, I have went ahead and done that. The character is such that you feel connected to it and really feel bad about what she is going through", she details.

She also has a reason for why Aishwariya Rai slipped out of the movie and the role came on to her "As I have always maintained, it was destiny coming into play. Moreover, every film comes with a 'kundli' of its own", she smiles, "I feel whatever happens, it is ultimately for the best."

The movie which releases on the 14th of September 2012, is already raising expectations and should be a ready hit. Although it would have to fight the competition of Anurag Basu's Barfi!.
