It has been a tough ride for Salman Khan, when it comes to the courts and rules, he has had the tough time in Jail and he was imprisoned for one year for killing a blackbuck and a chinkara, it seems that the curse has not left him free, the recent news is that Rajasthan's Jodhpur City court has asked him to be present for the hearing on September 20th. This was in regard to his appeal against conviction in a poaching case. The incident happened on September 26, 1998. Following which the Jodhpur court had sentenced Salman Khan on the 17th of February 2006.

Salman Khan was punished under Section 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. He had to spent 3 days in the Jodhpur Central Jail before the district and sessions court granted him bail! Following this on March 9 2006, Salman Khan had filed a appeal against the conviction, this is the case for which Jodhpur court has asked Salman Khan to come in person to the court. The District and Sessions Judge, B L Sharma adjourned the hearing till September 20th this year.

Public Prosecuter Ramsukh Sharma demanded that Salman should be present at the court and there can't be an exemption on that, since there hasn't been a single instance when Salman did appear before the court. Although the counselor for Salman Khan mentioned that since the star has a great fan following, bringing him to the court will cause a law and order situation. Although court rejected the plea and said that Salman Khan should be present for the hearing on September 20, 2011.

The event happened on the shoot of 'Hum Saath Saath Hain', at Bhawad on the outskirts of Jodhpur in 1998, seven others are also convicted for the same cause.
