Arjun Rampal : Strong Roles in the line

Arjun Rampal is all set with his strong characters that he is about to portray, after Rock On, he hasn't done any movie which did not do justice to his performance. He continues to remain choosy about the subjects and he has been backed by the success and appreciation that he receives over those movies. The 39-year old actor who had won National Award for his performance in Rock On, is happy that he is being presented with the variety of roles that satisfies himself and also creates an impact at the audience.

Arjun is currently working on 'Heroine' Madhur Bhandarkar's project and then plans to move to the sets of 'Zanjeer' which is being remade for today. He says he is glad to be have offered a role which legendary actor Pran had made memorable. “It is a cameo kind of a role. I have 10 or 12 days of work in the film. I will be playing the part which Pran saab had done. I’ll try to do it to the best of my ability," says Arjun, he plays the role of Sher Khan in the movie.

“Don’t ask me what it’s going to be because I really don't know about it. I want to do something special for Pran saab because I really loved that role when I saw it as a kid,” he added. We are sure you will pull it up, as he did in Don : the chase begins, where he played the role of Jasjit, which again was played by Pran in Don. He had provided a different touch to the role and he planning the same on Zanjeer. 

After Zanjeer, he goes on to work with Prakash Jha for Chakravyuh, another relevant topic and deals with the ideologies of Naxals and Maoists. “It's a beautiful script. Chakravyuh deals with an issue that is very relevant today — the Naxal movement that is happening within the country. Yes, it is a very debatable, strong and powerful subject,” he says.
