Now Panch's against Aamir!

In : |

Aamir Khan's voice has been heard by many about the issues that he bring in and as with any other controversial issues, the attempts continue to suppress his voices. Earlier it was Medscape, the umbrella foundation of doctors that had attempted, now it is the Panch's of Haryana that are trying to take legal action on Aamir Khan. In a previous episode Aamir Khan had tookup the topic of love marriages and how the Khap Panch's did try to defame the lovers and their family and this has been the cause of stir.

Aamir had took up the controversial issue of love marriages and how the society treats the youngsters who decide to live together. Satyamev Jayate has irked certain sections of Haryana, who feel that the Aamir Khan show is tarnishing their image by portraying them in a poor light. Say it female foeticide or honour killings, Haryana have been brought to light by the show, for all it's wrong practises.

And now the Sarv Khap Panchayat communities from Haryana have decided to take action against the Bollywood actor. Aamir’s show had played host to members of the Khap Panchayat and had confronted them by asking tricky questions about the “tyrant” law formulated by them.

And hence the Khaps want the show’s telecast to be terminated.

Talking to a leading daily, Randhir Singh, Head of Meham Chaubisi Panchayat said, “I got a call from a villager informing me that his three-year-old granddaughter told him that she too would marry by eloping.”

“What kind of changes the film star wants to bring in our society, his act would destroy the entire social structure of out villages that were living in brotherhood for decades,” he added.

Satyamev Jayate team is silent about it, and they do not want to create a controversy about this. But we are still not sure why the people are hurt when the truth comes out. We would dare the doctors or Panch's to deny any such facts that were mentioned on the show. There were solid proofs to back the claims that were mentioned.

So just we would like to lend our support to Aamir once again and to ignore these thorns that are in the path to a change.
