BSNL and Pantel Launches Three New Phones and A Tablet - Bharat Phone Expected To Create Waves

BSNL in association with Pantel Technologies have launched three new budget phones and a tablet to add to the range of smart devices. The largest ISP from India had been quiet when it came to mobile devices but with its association with Pantel, the new devices are cheaper in cost and serves the purpose.



The most talked about in the range is the "Bharat Phone" which is an internet ready device and priced at Rs. 1,799. The phone as mentioned, will be internet ready, so users can access the internet, facebook, check mails etc. The 3inch display and well arranged keypads adds to its utility. The phone includes a 1.3 MP camera and is powered by 1800mAh battery. The phone is based on java platform and will include a bundle of free apps pre-installed. The phone will be coupled with a attractive 1200 min free talktime bundled over a span of 12 months.

The android devices from BSNL includes PS650 and PS501. The 6.5 inch display in PS650 makes it attractive, the phone is powered by a 1.2Ghz dual core processor, 512Mb of RAM, expandable 4G internal memory and a big 2500mAh battery. The phone includes features like bluetooth, wifi and A-GPS. PS650 comes with 2MP rear camera and runs on Android 4.2.2. Priced at Rs. 7,999 the phone will be bundled with a 3GB of 3G data and 300 minutes of talktime.

The PS501 is a 5 inch android device which is powered by 1.2Ghz dual core processor, 512MB RAM, 4G internal memory, micor SD slot. The phone also includes a 5MP rear camera, a front facing VGA camera, micro USB port, wifi, bluetooth and A-GPS. The phone is priced at Rs 6,999 and will be available with the same talktime and data offer as PS650.

The tablet from BSNL is named as Penta T-Pad WS707C. The device comes with a 7 inch display and is powered by a dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, 4G internal storage, micro SD slot. The device runs on 4.2.2 android jelly bean and is said to feature 3D experience. The product is priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available with a 3GB 3G data free and 300 minutes of voice calls.
