Aamir Khan Shoots for UNICEF Ad

In : |

Aamir Khan had been selected as the brand ambassador for UNICEF in India and he seems to be already working with them. The event happened on the 28th and 29th of November at the Red Fort and India Gate. Very few knew that the shoot was on, as there were less gathering around Red Fort. Also the fact that Red Fort is closed for public on Mondays helped the shoot.

Aamir was shooting from 6am to 12pm at the Red Fort in chilling climate, the dedication of the actor is again commendable. The shoot was based on the theme that children are still being exploited. A source from the shoot mentioned "The ad campaign called, 'Kuposhan - Bharat Choro', sees Khan speaking to the children, something on the lines of - 'In 1947 India got Independence, but it's 2011 and we've not got independence from kuposhan.'

He adds, "Aao hum sab milkar azaadi paye." During his speech, Aamir is slowly joined by individuals, and soon the number increases to hundreds". The shooting continued on to 29th November at the India Gate and there were close to 300 people gathered for the shoot. They then moved to Gyarah Murti. Director Surjit Sarkar and lyricist Prasoon Joshi, who reportedly has written some songs for the advertisement, were also there.
