This happened on the recent ad shoot where Rajkumar Hirani was directing the ad along with Asin, she seems to be extremely thrilled to get to work with the director and she holds a great deal of admiration for the actor which was seen through the shooting schedule.
A source at the sets mentioned "They have always shared a mutual admiration for each other and have interacted in the past but this is the first time that they worked together. Both got along like a house on fire and the actress was thrilled that she finally got a chance to work with him in some capacity. "
The two went along great with each other and this was also made special with the birthday celebrations for Rajkumar Hirani, on the sets (the Sophia College canteen) after the shoot got over. Asin was happily found singing 'Happy Birthday' song for Rajkumar Hirani. She then left to Krabi, Thailand to shoot her next film both have kept in touch. She says, "I had a fun shoot. It was a lovely experience working with Raju. He is so simple, down-to-earth and uncomplicated."
