Abhishek Bachchan to do a Bhojpuri movie

Buzz is that Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan will soon be seen in a Bhojpuri movie. Abhishek will appear in the upcoming film of the makeup man turned director Deepak Sawant. 

It seems as if Abhishek is following daddy's footsteps. Amitabh Bachchan has already worked with Deepak Sawant in three Bhojpuri films: Ganga Devi, Ganga and Gangotri.

It is said that Abhishek Bachchan wanted to act in a Bhojpuri movie. Deepak Sawant, the film producer said that, "Abhishek had asked me as to why I am not casting him in my film. The offer to work in Bhojpuri cinema came from Abhishek himself."

He added that, "All I can say is that Abhishek will be a part of our upcoming Bhojpuri film. We have a film in place titled 'Ganga Ramji'. It is a political movie. It is about how a third person, say a politician gets benefit from the fight between two politicians."

Deepak Sawant said that, "We intend to release the film after IPL. We do not want to incur any losses with this film. Also, fans are crazy about IPL."

Currently Abhishek Bachchan is busy shooting for Rohit Shetty's movie Bol Bachchan. He had recently opted out of Prakash Jha's next movie because he did not want to loose his focus from his upcoming movie Dhoom 3.
