Joker Goes Hi-Tec - Akshay stays away from promotions!

Shirish Kunder's Joker is the next big release after Ek Tha Tiger, the movie will also see Akshay doing the well known comedy genre that he has mastered. Shirish Kunder who is happy with how the promotions are going on is now planning to launch the second trailer of the movie pretty soon. He has been working with international artists on creating the Hollywood style trailer for the movie. 

"I am currently making a second trailer of 'Joker' which will be laden with visual effects and many more things that we haven't disclosed so far," confirms Shirish Kunder.

The movie which has aliens as their highlight will show more of UFO's and Aliens in the second trailer that will get released soon. "Some very highly qualified technicians are working on this visually attractive trailer. Prime Focus is also working with me and they have branches in New York and London. Technicians from those centers are making sure this trailer is of international standards.

The idea is to do something different and woo audiences, like what we have been doing to promote the film so far," adds Shirish.

But even midst of the promotions - Akshay Kumar who plays the lead of the movie, is missing from the promotion events. For now its only the actresses who have took up the responsibility of movie promotions, we are seeing only Sonakshi Sinha and Chitrangada Singh doing the promotional events and it is very unlikely that the hero of the movie is missing. The rumors are spreading out between a fight with Akshay and Shirish!

But it seems that the rumors are nicely covered up, as Farah Khan came up with the excuse that this is just another marketing strategy. "It's a strategy, please don't go by what you are reading in the papers, it's somebody trying to do mischief. It's a strategy we have adopted," the 47-year-old said here in an interview.

"We have just seen a lot of them doing 'Rowdy Rathore' promotion, we didn't want our film to look the same. It's a very different film, it's a kids-friendly film. Our USP are the aliens and we want to play upon that," Farah said. (Is that an excuse?!)

Further she said that the movie is for family viewing, "It's for kids. After a very long time you'll see a film where parents can take their kids and they don't have to worry that something will come now, a kiss or sex or violence. It's very clean and entertaining film," Farah said.

Now its up to you that you believe Farah or the rumor - but our common sense says 'What The ...', if you go by the logic of Farah, then it would be tough for superstars like Shahrukh, Salman or Aamir to pair up with the same heroine again and do promotions together! As we all are aware how good a personality Shirish Kunder is, it wont be tough to find who is playing here.
