As Karan Johar, we agree that Salman Khan is not just a name its a phenomenon and when it hits the screen you expect the rush of crowds from everywhere. The movie which is just 6 days old has already crossed the humongous mark of Rs. 100 Crore and its not just stopping there, the market experts are counting it to cross the mark of Rs. 400 crore gross collection which should set the record for the Bollywood movies.

The movie '3 idiots' was the only one movie which was holding the throne of highest grosser of Bollywood with Rs. 385 Crore, but seeing the graphs of Ek Tha Tiger, there seems to be no stopping for the phenomenon that is named Salman Khan.

Karan Johar, in a recent media event told "There is an actor, a superstar and a phenomenon. Salman Khan is a phenomenon. He is beyond the film; he's an event. He takes the meaning of iconic to another level, a tsunami whose waves encompass the audience in his power. Watching ETT in a single theatre with that audience is another phenomenon,"

Ek Tha Tiger also joins the league of movies which does prove that Salman Khan is a sure hit maker with the fourth movie on a row to go beyond hundred crores. Now its only the movie 'Wanted' which did make the Action superstar come alive, that did not cross the 100 crore mark, grossing at about Rs. 82 Crore.

Bollywood is still at a 'wow' for the response the movie is receiving. The movie Ek Tha Tiger portrays Salman Khan different from his previous movies and adds in a separate genre of romance - and when the actor paired up with Katrina Kaif again, there was nothing else that audience wanted. Its all in all - action - romance (no Brain!) movie.

"The film has opened to a crazy response, so there are chances that the total box office collection will increase.Since the film was strategically released on a week that includes Independence Day as well as Eid, it had an advantage," says trade analyst Vajir Singh.
The analysts believe that the movie will continue to reign through the rest of the month as there is no big release set for this month, Shirin Farhad Ki To Nikal Padi is the next release in Bollywood, which is rather a small movie when compared to Ek Tha Tiger.
Overall collections are Rs 32.92 cr on Wed, Rs 14.5 cr on Thur, Rs 12.90 cr on Fri, Rs 16.75 cr on Sat and Rs 23.06 cr on Sunday.

Ek Tha Tiger also holds the record for the quickest century in collections! (WOW!)
